Botanical Ingredients

We choose the best botanical ingredients and prioritise those that are either waste by-products of other clean companies, obtained via fermentation processes or lab-grown like micro-algae.

100% Plastic-Free Skincare

Our packaging is 100% plastic-free. You won’t find a small plastic cap, insert, label, lid or dropper. When we say no plastic, we mean it. Our aluminium containers are reusable and endlessly recyclable.

Vegan Friendly & Cruelty-Free

All our botanical ingredients are vegan-friendly and we are proud to be approved as cruelty-free under the Leaping Bunny Programme, the best global cruelty-free assurance.

100% Petroleum-free Skincare

Petroleum is not renewable, therefore not sustainable. This includes mineral oil, PEGs (polyethylene glycols), SLS/SLES (sodium lauryl sulfate / sodium laureth sulfate) and parabens. Thousands of plant-derived cosmetic ingredients exist, and there is absolutely no good reason to incorporate petroleum into our skincare routines.

Palm-Free

We use either alternatives to palm-oil or Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certified derivatives that have not been farmed through deforestation. At present, all our products are palm-free, with the exception of our Fruit AHAs Exfoliating Mask which contains a very small percentage of a RSPO certified palm derivative.

One new tree with every order

As a way to give back and help reduce the amount of carbon out there, we have partnered with Ecologi. For every order we receive, we plant one tree with them. This tangible act will have lasting effect beyond your product and hopefully beyond all of us!

Whitfords Studio

Our London studio was designed and built in-house and all our products are made there: we don’t use external manufacturers. It even has a green roof to catch all rain water! The electricity used is 100% certified renewable and UK generated, adding to the goal of conserving resources whenever possible.
